Prior to joining The Outreach Team, Steve was the Deputy National Canvass Director at Grassroots Campaigns, Inc. for ten years, where he specialized in building canvass programs on behalf of amazing groups like the ACLU, ASPCA, Doctors Without Borders, Planned Parenthood Action Fund, Planned Parenthood Federation of America, and the Southern Poverty Law Center.

Steve got his start on campaigns in the 2004 Presidential Election. Since then, Steve has managed advocacy and charitable campaign efforts in 30 states (plus DC). A native Nutmegger, Steve now lives in the Queen City, Charlotte, NC with his partner and two young daughters. When he's not thinking about how to bring in more high quality donors for non-profits and win elections, he enjoys changing diapers, washing bottles, playing peek-a-boo, and reading "Little Blue Truck" books.
