Megan has been managing people, programs, and projects in the non-profit political space for 20 years. Prior to joining The Outreach Team, she was the Senior Director of People and Operations for The Voting Rights Lab. During the 2016 and 2018 election cycles, Megan was National Field Director for the Community Voters Project, where she ran a national non-partisan field effort that helped register over 300,000 people of color to vote. She started her professional organizing career working on environmental and democracy issues with college students, but her very first organizing experience was mobilizing her friends to protest an ice cream price hike in her school cafeteria. When she’s not working, you can usually find Megan cheering on her son at various youth sporting events, volunteering on local school board races, or soaking up as many beach days as she can.
