Donna began organizing as a college student, working to ban plastic bags in California. After graduating, she organized on college campuses and directed canvass offices, including with The Outreach Team, on environment, consumer protection, and democracy campaigns. Most recently, she spent six years developing and executing an organizing and campaign framework for the National Iranian American Council as their first Organizing Director. She has since re-joined The Outreach Team as a Project Director, primarily overseeing organizing projects.
