Matteo started in electoral organizing on the 2016 Bernie Sanders campaign, but his heart belongs to environmental advocacy work: he and his family are proud to have successfully fought the completion of the Atlantic Coast Pipeline. He lives with cerebral palsy and salutes the work of disability activists everywhere. He is a postulant for the Episcopal priesthood. To relax he enjoys playing piano, singing in choirs, and kayaking. He dreams of one day through-hiking the Appalachian Trail with other disabled folks.
